MMM Pick For January
Hello everyone! You might be confused because I am posting on Monday, but get ready for Musing of a Modern Mermaid content! I am ready, energized, and feeling extremely creative lately. And with school almost over, I can post as much as I want. Which is a truly great feeling.
So! If you follow me on Instagram (and if you don’t you should. Go click on the Instagram icon and it will take you there) you saw me post a poll wondering if you guys would be interested in me doing a fashion round-up of all the things I have my eye one. Overwhelmingly, the answer was yes! Since I do not online shop SO often that I feel like I could do this weekly with good finds, I will be doing it once a month to show you guys all the things on my fashion wishlist for that month! A simple, white bodysuit from Urban Outfitters! I love the eyelet hooks up the front and the ribbed detail. Super basic and simple, but perfect for the summer. I have a pair of boyfriend jeans I wear with tube tops all summer long and this bodysuit would be a perfect addition to those jeans.
Another bodysuit from Urban Outfitters! I used to hate bodysuits, but as you can tell I have gotten over that. I love them and the way they look on my petite frame. I have been looking for a lavender, lace bodysuit for quite a while and have finally found the one! It is perfect for going out as well as a casual night out in the summer. I also got these amazing vegan leather shorts for Christmas that this would look amazing with!
This is a simple t-shirt that I think will go perfectly in my closet! Black jeans, distressed blue jeans, denim skirt! All of it! It is a fun take on a simple t-shirt and I think it will be perfect for summer.
Would you just look at these jeans! How amazing are they? I found them from a blogger I follow and love, Payton Sartain, and am now on the pre-order list for these beauties. Many people say that a great pair of shoes can change a woman’s life, but I would like to add that a great pair of jeans can change a woman’s life just as much.
This is from a newer shop I have found recently and I AM IN LOVE! They are all artisan designs and handmade in LA. They are all so gorgeous and promote powerful women and women lifting others. I have written so many things about how much I love Dressed in LaLa and have so many pieces from them. I also currently love so many pieces from them, but at the top of my wishlist is this delightful hat. I have been after a black stiff brimmed hat for YEARS and have never found the perfect one. Until now that is.
