Purple Everywhere

This week has been full of freezing rain and massive downpour style rain. And I have got to tell ya I am not a fan of this weather. It’s all fine and good if you can stay inside while this insanity is going on, but certainly not great if you have to walk to classes or take blog photos. We had to squeeze this in between downpours, and that wasn’t even super successful. It started to rain on us about ten minutes in and it was so cold you can almost see me shivering in these photos. However, I love this dress and these shoes, and it was time to show it off!

I have always had a little bit of boho in my wardrobe, but this dress takes it to a whole new level. The extremely flowy silhouette of the dress plus the added ruffles make it a dream. It is easy and comfortable to wear, and easy to layer which is always so helpful in Oregon. And since I need to make everything feel a little edgy, the lace tights and platform oxfords help with that.

This dress was so fun to wear, it would have been amazing to get a million more photos. The weather in Oregon, however, makes it nearly impossible to get good photos during the winter. Or at least multiple good photos. But when you can get those images to contrast like this, it seems worthwhile to have stood out in the rain for ten minutes just to get a few photos that look like this.

I cannot wait to do a photo shoot with this amazing piece of clothing this summer and get to see it that way! Thank you, everyone, for tuning in to another week! I have already started working on some of my bigger plans this year and I am so excited for you all yo see what I have coming!
