Favorite Casual Outfit

For starters, this outfit is my most favorite, and my new go-to when I need to go out in public for any reason and cannot figure out what to wear. Second, I know these photos are a little rough; turns out taking photos for yourself on a tripod while a homeless man watches you is not so easy! Plus this was the second time I tried to shoot and really just wanted to get this up for everyone especially since I wanted to link this top while it is still on sale!

This is the perfect striped top and honestly, this outfit truly has become such a fun go-to. Keep scrolling to see my new favorite outfit!

This t-shirt seems like any other run-of-the-mill striped top, but it certainly is not! It is the softest tee I have ever owned, it has a wide scooping neckline so that you can wear it off the shoulder (perfect because you can wear it off the shoulder on either side) and it has an unfinished hem around the neck! It is the perfect striped tee because it has all of the tiny details so perfectly planned and etched in that it allows it to be more than just another striped tee hanging in your closet that you will never wear. The stripes are also tan, navy, and black so you can wear the top with all sorts of colors and styles of things and are not locked into it being only black and white, which can limit your outfit options.

I have written about these jeans and boots plenty so I don’t feel like I need to do it again, so let’s talk about other ways to style this outfit! Since I live in Oregon and we are far from things actually being warm in any real way, I often pair this outfit with my leather jacket or an olive green jacket. It depends on the vibe you are going for, but both are a great option to keep things warm until this can be work without any layers over the top. I also have a brick-red cardigan with some dark floral patterns on it that might look good with this; it could be a fun way to mix some patterns!
