Early Summer

At the time I wrote this post and had this ready to go (4 days ago) the weather was amazing and we had amazing summer temperatures that were supposed to last throughout this whole week. However, it is Friday and has been pouring rain for the past 3 days. It's very upsetting and I am not loving being in quarantine while it rains. At least when the sun was out we could go on walks and stand outside for some relaxation but now I am sitting in my dark apartment while it pours outside. Yay.

Anyway, these photos were taken by the river on an amazingly beautiful day, fueled by delicious lavender cold brew, and with my wonderful friend who is always down to help some photos. Keep scrolling to see one of my favorite outfits to wear when the weather gets warm!

When it comes to summer, there has to be a balance of style with the ability to have airflow so you don’t overheat. This ensemble is the best way to do that! Flowy shorts, comfy sandals, and casual tank tops are the perfect way to remain feeling stylish while also not feeling claustrophobic in too much denim. Plus if you live in most places in this country, you will probably need a little jacket right now or a jacket in the evenings! Best way to transition any outfit.

I apologize for less writing in this post than normal, but this week has been rough mentally for me while in quarantine. It’s rough like it always is in quarantine, but for some reason, this week was just a little harder than the last few. So here are my photos I had so much fun taking and getting to be outside in the sun with a friend taking fashion photos. This is something I love to do so is allowed to share it while I also hate most of the rest of the world has been such a good outlet for me. Thank you for keeping on reading during all of this! I’ll be back Monday with hopefully some rest and a little better mental space.
