Dressing for the In-Between
Getting dressed in between any season is a huge pain. Right now it is not quite cold enough to be winter (except when it is) and not quite warm enough to be autumn (except for that one day last week) so getting dressed can make the mornings more stressful than they need to be. If you're like me, then leggings and hoodie is also not the most ideal option every day. As much as I love my hoodies and a soft pair of leggings, that puts me in lazy mode and I will not be motivated to do anything. So! I put one of my favorite in-between outfits below to show you guys! It is one of my go-tos and since it is pretty simple, you can mix up the sweater and boot combo to keep it exciting.

This sweater was my first adult clothing purchase. I was in high school and shopping at a local boutique in my hometown when I came across this sweater and fell in love. Its cashmere, it’s color-blocked, and it was the perfect addition to my closet. You can tell it is starting to stretch out and wear out a bit, but it is so cozy I just keep hoping it makes it to the next winter.
The black, short, pencil skirt has been a staple in my wardrobe since high school. It is perfect to dress up for parties, make professional for anything business-related, and also great for something casual like this. I have updated this skirt since high school, but still a great piece to have. And of course the boots. I have already written many love letters about these boots so I’ll keep it short: favorite boots ever.
A favorite accessory of mine tights, but in the winter that can be kind of a problem. Tights are typically not the warmest things a person can wear. However, these are fleece lined and are so warm and cozy you will forget you were wearing tights at all!
I hope you all enjoyed this! This is such a simple outfit and is perfect for the weird in-between weather. It’s easy to mix it up and change it up as well! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
