The Eras Tour
I know this post is a little late, but now it’s getting posted exactly one week from when I was here living my best life so it seems pretty fitting! I have been a Taylor Swift fan since the day I heard “Tear Drops on My Guitar” on the radio on the way to school one morning. I got her debut album CD which was the special edition with Target that had a poster and all the music videos included as well as all the behind-the-scenes things. I bought every album since and have never once stopped being a fan. Because of where I lived in high school and then my budget when I was in college, I have never been able to go to a show. So at the age of 26, after almost 2 decades of being a super fan, I went to my first ever Taylor Swift show. And it was the best experience ever.
I went to the Eras Tour, Seattle Night 1, with my sister and my best friend, and her sister and sister-in-law. We all dressed up and made friendship bracelets to trade and sang and danced until we lost our voices and couldn’t feel our feet. It was, without a doubt, the absolute best concert I have EVER been to. Our openers were Gravie Abrams (for who I have a new love) and HAIM (for who I have a renewed love) and they were all so much fun I cannot be more poetic about it! It was truly so amazing I can’t be more emphatic or descriptive about it! It was a healing experience, and an awakening experience to be there with so many people who are all from different walks of life, who drove and flew and made bracelets and wore costumes so we could all be joined by this experience here. An experience so fun and insane that we caused a tiny earthquake, might I add. It was such a wholesome and wonderful experience I wish I could live in that energy forever.

This was just a little moment for me to gush about how amazing the show was, how cute my outfit for the show was, and honestly how I am a different person now (yes it’s dramatic but let me live)!
