Casual, Comfortable and Professional (kind of)
Wow, long time no talk! There has been so much going on lately that I haven’t been able to get on here and get a post going. Lots of health issues I’ll be updating on soon, but there has been so much fatigue that has really made things hard lately. But more on that later:)
This is a shoot I did a few weeks ago and saved for a rainy day, and it is one of my favorite outfits to wear to work when I need to still professional work attire but need to be comfortable. This is my go-to comfy, and professional-casual look.
I have been working for a job that does have a dress code and I would say it falls under the business casual zone, but they are pretty lenient on what that means. As long as you do not wear blue jeans or anything that has inappropriate graphics on it, they let you get away with most things. This is an example they let me get away with, especially on my bad days. You guys have seen these pants from me before and they are truly some of my favorites. You can dress them up or down so easily and they fit amazingly, even when I am super bloated. Paired with sneakers you can see how easy it is to make them comfortable for work anything else you might be busy doing all day.
This is the ultimate purse backpack. I said what I said.
It was modeled after some different designer backpacks, but it comes at a much lower price point. It fits everything you could need for the day, has adjustable straps, and matches everything. You could add it to a slightly more dressy and fashionable outfit, or toss it on with biker shorts and a crewneck and it would look good either way! It seriously everything you need and allows you to enjoy a day of site seeing, running errands, or grabbing lunch with friends!
There isn’t much to say about the crewneck except that it is so comfy, soft, and the emerald green lets you add a little something fun to a traditional, casual outfit. This is my go-to work outfit on a bad pain day because of how loose and comfortable it is, while still looking presentable and relatively put together. It allows comfort while still giving off an air of “I’m here to do my job”, ya know what I mean?
