Feeling like a Bad Ass
Welcome back, everyone! Apologies for getting this shoot up so late, I have been traveling which makes my schedule such a mess. BUT! Better late than never right? This outfit below is super comfy and casual, but it also is dressed up enough to go out and grab a drink with a friend (if they are vaccinated of course) and just such an easy and carefree summer outfit!
This is an outfit full of older favorites of mine that you have all seen a couple of times: the leather jacket that I’ve had for years, the denim skirt I got two summers ago, and the platform sandals I can’t seem to stop wearing. But the top is the new thing here. This top I now have in three colors and they are the best, go-to basic summer top that I think I need in at least one more color. They are cropped but not too cropped, I can wear them without a bra, and they go with everything, They look awesome with denim but they also look good paired with some high-waisted leggings and sneakers for a more sporty look. I have a hard time dressing the white one up since it does feel like a very standard white tank top, but this one can be made to be so dramatic with just a leather jacket tossed on top and a bold lip!
As much as I wish I could always shoot new clothes for you guys, it just isn’t always an option. I do not have a disposable income to always have new clothes present, and I am doing my best to shop ethically when I can, which makes things more expensive (as they should be). But there is something to bed said about a piece of clothing so good you can’t stop wearing it and sharing about it! Even though this denim skirt and jacket are from Urban Outfitters, they are of good quality and fit the needs I need them to. Taking proper care of your clothes too really can expand the life of them which makes it so much easier on your wallet and on the planet!
