Spring Has Come Early (In Outfit Only)

Hello lovely people! I am here today to show you all a fun new outfit I’ve gotten! Now it is technically a spring and summer outfit, but since I got it during winter I decided to do a little what to do when you want to wear your spring clothes in winter post. Payton Sartain, one my favorite bloggers, did a giveaway with this Australian brand, Petal and Pup. I magically won and this top is one of the things I purchased with my giveaway gift card. Nothing is better than getting to buy clothes that you don’t have to pay for with your own money. I will be shooting and showing you the other piece I got from them soon but for now, enjoy the photos below!

This top is definitely more girly than something I would typically purchase, but for some reason, this top just called out to me while I was browsing the site. I do love my florals, and I am always here for a good off the shoulder moment, the colors and fabric are just slightly more delicate than I would usually go for. I am not really into pinks or super girly, I tend to gravitate towards hoodies and leather, but like all things that are super girly all I had to do was pair it with some ripped denim and boots and I was good to go! I would also add my green military-style jacket for an extra layer if need be, or pair it with some distressed denim shorts this summer!

Now, I unwittingly took these photos on the first day that the Polar Vortex so I will not be really wearing this top anytime soon, (that is also why these photos are inside) but the concept of the outfit still stands! I have said this before and I will keep saying this: my only true aesthetic or stable style element is that I like to mix the girly and delicate with the more masculine and harder styles. I would love to have paired this top with an even more ripped up pair of jeans, but I am still on the hunt for that next best pair so these had to do for now. Once things really warm up I also have the perfect distressed denim skirt to go with this one! The last reason I pushed this top was that it will be so easy to dress up or down. Pairing it with a slightly different, more flowy skirt and some heels would elevate this for any need you have for dinner and drinks once that is an option again!

Thanks for tagging along, go and shop Petal and Pup if you are interested in more style like this! They even offer a maternity section that is absolutely adorable. See you guys on Monday!
