Perpetual Feelings
Hello friends! I am here today with yet another fashion spread, of yet another sweatshirt I am in love with. As I have mentioned once or twice, I have been very reluctant to accept that fall is here and that cold weather is coming. But between last week and today, I have changed my tune a bit. While the fact that it is 30 degrees outside as I write this still gives me pause, the overall fall season has come back into my good graces. The color in these photos and the coziness that comes with fall has won my heart again. Keep scrolling to see the rest of this casual fall outfit!
When it comes to sweatshirts and sweaters, the only way I really find it acceptable to wear them is oversized. unless it’s cropped, in which case that is a whole other thing. But! In general, oversized is the only way to go. Boys Lie nails this concept perfectly. I talked about this in my try-on haul a little bit (video here), but this and all their other sweatshirts are purposefully oversized and only come in one size. I have one other hoodie by them that I love and basically live in this time of year (I did a post on it here) but this is a top contender to take its spot. The pale pink and bleached dye combination makes it easy to match and adds a little something extra to what would be the standard sweatshirt outfit. The Boys lie logo is all that is on the front, and on the back we have the main event. The graphic on the back shows a cherub-style drawing in a heart with some foliage around her. Above it reads “temporary thoughts” and below it says “perpetual feelings”.
Now I definitely would have preferred to pair this crewneck with a pair of distressed black jeans! But since I have gained weight during the pandemic and just since I am now 25 and not 18 anymore, I haven’t found a new pair of black ripped jeans that I like and fit me well! I just ordered a pair of jeans from Reformation (you guys, these jeans are unreal), and if they fit I will be ordering many more. This crewneck would also be paired well with black biker shorts or some light wash jeans (distressed of course).
Not the most traditional fall photoshoot, but fun nonetheless! Make sure to follow all of my socials to stay up to date on the blog info! I am toying with the idea of getting a newsletter going that would also alert when I post! Thoughts? Feelings? Ideas? Comment down below!
