Lightning Never Strikes Twice

Hello hello, lovelies! Today I am here to give you a slightly more palatable and fun post, especially because my last post involved a potential government coup. Today, I have another fun fashion spread, courtesy of my favorite online boutique, Dressed in Lala. I have raved about them so many times and this post will not be an exception. They offer such a great selection that it is so hard not to buy everything every time they drop a new collection. This sweater is my most recent acquisition from them and I have been living in it for the past few weeks. Plus I can’t get over how these photos turned out!

On top of the luxurious feel of this sweater and the gorgeous way it drapes on you, it has the most wonderful distressed detailing! The sleeves and the hem alike have gorgeous rips that fall perfectly and look so grunge and fun. The small lightning bolts on the actual body of the sweater add a tiny bit of whimsy into the other wise pretty edgy piece of clothing. I have also paired this baby with mom jeans and different docs, as well as black pencil skirt with lace tights! All combos with this sweater are the bomb!

These jeans are some of my favorites! While I do wish they were slightly more distressed, they work perfectly when something else is already more distressed . The denim is the perfect color for most other items and they mesh perfectly with the dark glitter on my docs! I have often said how I love to mix and match the girly and the edgy, and this outfit feels like the perfect embodiment of this idea.

While this isn’t the most complicated of outfits, it is something that can be worn every day for the most basic of tasks or for something more fun once the world opens up again. This awesome sweater would also pair really well with leggings for a more comfy look with maybe a beanie and some boots? Maybe I’ll have to do another post with all the iterations of this sweater I can think of! Let me know in the comments if that’s something you guys would want to see!

See ya next week!
