All Dressed Up, Nowhere to Go

Welcome back to another weird indoors photoshoot! I was going to take these photos outside with my self timer (woo!) but as soon as I walked out there, I was yelled at by a bike cop for being insensitive and breaking the law. Now I was being safe and taking photos alone, and it is not illegal to take walks during quarantine. But this bike cop made me wary enough that I took these inside. Looking forward to when we can get back to normal life and be outside without being yelled at!

Either way, I hope you all enjoy this little shoot! Nothing crazy but I did have fun with this one, even inside.

I bought this jumpsuit last summer and have been in love with it ever since. There is nothing comfier to wear in summer than a flowy jumpsuit and no bra! This is another Dressed in Lala purchase that has been worth every penny. The colors are gorgeous and vibrant which makes it the perfect jumpsuit to wear out for dinner or drinks in the summer (when we are finally allowed to leave again) or on Zoom happy hour with friends until then. The button detail on the top adds a little something extra and is kind of like accessorizing since a necklace would probably make it a little overwhelming.

While they aren’t the main focus of this post, the sandals in this outfit are amazing and I live in them during the summer. The platform is enough to give you a little extra height, but are extremely easy to walk in; this is a huge perk for me since walking in heels often ends in my rolling an angle. The large strap and buckle around the ankle add a few extra details that give the perfect glam to whatever you are wearing. Plus, they are wonderfully 90’s and you truly couldn’t ask for more from a sandal. They go with everything from jeans and a tube top, to sundresses and jumpsuits.
