Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.

Since we are currently living within quarantine and not supposed to go outside, for this week’s shoot I have to get a little creative. Kevin is gone for the time being while everything is closed here in Oregon, so all of these photos were taken on my phone. Things are getting a little boring here inside the apartment so I am doing my best to keep it creative! This is my new favorite dress for spring/summer! The style, the fit, and the colors are amazing. Keep scrolling to see this fun, kinda weird shoot.

This is a super delicate, feminine dress that when I first styled it, didn’t really feel like me. But when I swapped sandals for my docs and a light pink lip for a dark one, this whole thing felt like me. While I am pretty girly and sometimes very feminine, mixing up the edgy and the feminine is my favorite way to dress. Dresses, docs and some bold lipstick is the way I wish I could dress every single day.

While not being able to go outside and and shoot photos the way I am used to is very frustrating, it is so fun to get creative and switch it up! A simple chair, natural light and phone tripod can make for a really fun and odd shoot. Plus some weird editing to try and make it a little different.
