Making Leather Shorts a Thing

Hello hello hello!

This weeks shoot happened pretty last minute (hence why this is going up a day late) but! It is one of my more favorite shoots I have done in a while. The sun was out today, spirits were high, and we got to have fun with this one. The past few months have been so rainy and cold that we have been doing shoots in 10 minutes or less. Today we got to fully enjoy the sun and run around.

I am so lucky to have a boyfriend who wants to take photos for me and run around and have fun with me like this. Getting a dual boyfriend/photographer is really the way to go (jk love you even if you didn’t take photos for me;))

These are my new favorite shorts. I am usually a denim shorts only type of gal, but these vegan leather shorts are my newest favorite addition to my closet. I cannot wait until it warms up and I can wear them with a lavender lace body suit to all the fun clubs and bars I go to (or like dinner more likely). Until then, they look pretty amazing with some shiny tights.

This is another sweater I have had for a million years and the longer I wear it the comfier it gets. I can’t quit wearing it. It has lasted me for so long, I cannot imagine ever getting rid of it. It is the perfect berry color that goes with everything and can be easily dressed up or down. In 10 years, I hope this sweater is still in good shape.

Going to school in a smaller town, I do not get a lot of circumstances to dress up like this. Having this blog has enabled me to wear whatever I want, whenever I want, and one day I will get to do that and live in a place that allows me to walk around in these outfits without getting weird looks. For now, I’ll take the weird looks.
