Sweater Weather
This month I have been trying to fill up the blog with as much fall-related content as possible. I know it is not for everyone, but I love fall and all it has to offer. The colors, the drinks, the activities, what’s not to love!? This week I have a simple outfit for you all that is one of my favorites to wear this time of year!

These jeans have been with me since high school. The holes have grown exponentially since I purchased them almost 5 years ago, but they are worn in perfectly and even though they are about ready to just be two large holes, I can’t find it in myself to get rid of them.
This jacket was a gift to me right after I moved to Chicago and the temperatures reached below freezing every day in the winter. It isn’t overly bulky, is long and waterproof, and also has a nice fashion element to it. IT is my go-to during the rainy season here and looks good with all outfits.
Last but not least we have the star of the show: the mustard sweater. I usually cannot wear yellow since I am blonde and pale, but this is the perfect shade that lets me not look like I have jaundice. It is oversized and so soft, with super pretty lace detail along the bottom. It looks great with a pair of jeans or leggings. I have even dressed it up with a pair of high heeled booties. It is the ultimate fall sweater and I love it.
I hope you enjoyed this simple fall outfit today! Next week’s post has been in the works for a few months and I am so excited to finally show you all! So stay on the lookout for next Wednesday!
