Ten Tree

When it comes to fashion, you have to be very careful what you buy. Fashion accounts for 82 pounds of textile waster per year, and that is for every single developed country. This has increased within the last 20 years since the invention of fast fashion brands and the realization that companies can make synthetic fibers for a cheaper cost than using real fibers, like cotton, for a lightly higher cost. With heavier use of synthetic fibers, the waste has increased becasue now clothes are made to last a shorter amount of time and then also do not decompose in landfills like organic clothing does. People are buying more and throwing away more than we ever have before, which means it's time to get back to our roots and use fibers that are from the earth, or recycled fibers. 

Enter brands like Ten Tree! Ten Tree makes all of their clothing out of organic cotton and recycled polyester fibers! They also plant ten trees for every single item purchased. So not only are they using quality material that is less damaging to the earth, they are planting trees to help renew the earth every time they sell a clothing item, which has lead to 18,857,420 trees to have been planted. The clothing is very nature centered and very outdoorsy in style and design. They sell both men and women’s clothing and rotate what gets sold based on the time of the year. They have a lot of amazing pieces I highly recommend looking in to. 

This hoodie is so soft and so warm, only a light layer underneath is really needed. It's perfect hiking and being outside, but also perfect for everyday wear. 

There are small little pieces of cork attached to the end of the strings (also sourced responsibly) that add just enough of something extra. The cowl neckline makes it extra cozy and provides a little extra warmth on those chilly days. 

This tank top is the softest top I own!! Perfect for any outdoor activities as well as as day to day regular life adventures.
